We are a 100% volunteer run soccer club. Volunteers are needed throughout the season to maintain low operating cost and registration fees.  Upon registration, a $25 volunteer fee per child will be charged.

Opportunities for a refund of volunteer fee and registration costs are outlined below:
Single time volunteer: 
One $25 volunteer fee will be refunded at the end of the season, per sign-up completed. [example- if you have 3 children and would like all 3 volunteer fees refunded, you must work 3 shifts]
-Any family member over the age of 16 may volunteer for the various one-time club support needs. 
-Time commitment: typically, 1-2 hours per season.
-One time support needs include but are not limited to: field day setup, concession stand, bathroom cleaner, field clean up and shut down.

Full season volunteer:
Your $25 volunteer fee + ONE child’s registration will be refunded at the end of the season.
-**AGE LIMIT - 18+
-Time commitment: typically, 1-2 hours per week.
-Seasonal club support includes but is not limited to: bathroom opener + closer, goal and net repair, irrigation sprinkler operator, field painter and field mower.

Volunteer hours are silver cord eligible.

If a shift must be cancelled, we ask that you do that within five days before the shift. 
Volunteer opportunities may be added throughout the season as needs arise.

We couldn't do all that we do for the kids without your help. Please contact a board member if you have any questions about how you can assist in keeping things going for your player.

Coaches go through a background check by the Iowa Soccer League and are required to take trainings prior to being able to interact with players.

IMPORTANT: US Soccer developed the Safe Soccer framework within which all participants in the soccer community, including referees, will play an active role in creating an environment free from emotional, physical and sexual abuse. It is a comprehensive program of policies / process, screening, education / training, reporting, monitoring and enforcement designed to help you detect and report abuse, respond to it, and prevent future occurrences.

Required Trainings:
Concussion Training* - CDS's Heads Up Training
*must be completed every two years

SafeSport Training - U.S.Soccer Learning Center
-Click sign up in the top right corner, then create a profile. Register with the same email as you did with Bondurant Soccer Club.
-Once your profile is created there should be a Safe Soccer button to click in towards the top of the web page. Click it.
-It will take you to the training page. You only need to do the items in PHASE 1
*valid for one year. You can take a 'refresher' course if you log in before the year expires.

Board members attend monthly meetings, volunteer to help the club succeed and make strategic decisions for the entire Bondurant Soccer Family. 

BOARD OPENING: The Bondurant Soccer Board is currently seeking a new Director of Fields for the West complex (Collison.) The Director of Fields is responsible for overseeing the grounds, including but not limited to: mowing, painting of field lines and fertilizing. We typically have a great group of volunteers that keep our fields in amazing shape. As director, you would be in charge of managing that list of volunteers and filling in where needed.
